NUTRITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It helps prevent blood clots, strengthens capillary walls, stabilizes cell membranes, prevents hormones, lipids, and proteins from being oxidized, and promotes proper functioning of linolenic acid and saturated fatty acids. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, protects cells from damage, which can prolong cell life, and slows the aging process. Vitamin E aids in the dilation of blood vessels, inhibits blood coagulation to prevent clots from forming, and lowers blood pressure. Vitamin E plays an essential role in the cellular respiration of all muscles, especially cardiac and skeletal muscles. It makes it possible for these muscles and their nerves to function with less oxygen, thereby increasing their endurance and stamina.
Vitamin F maintains the function and integrity of cell membranes. It transports, breaks down, and excretes cholesterol, and helps form hemoglobin.
